You may have noticed we have a lovely “Live Chat” icon on the top right of our website now, we are now providing 24/7 online support staff and part time sales staff who will be online to help you with any enquires you may have. Our friendly team will do their best to answer any questions you may have and work with the help desk support team to resolve any issues quickly and professionally.

We have also improved our over night staff so when the UK goes to sleep our team is awake when the US wakes up. We hope to provide faster response times throughout the day and make sure you get the very best help.

Improving our shared, Media and Reseller support

Since we published the targets for 2011 for improving our services we have now been able to pick off another one of the list after ticking the online community forum off. We have managed to bring in a couple new faces to Host Media UK dedicated to support for Level 1 & 2 issues on our Shared, Media and reseller questions for their hosting. You will be able to get faster responses due to the more staff and helpful information to your questions.

After very useful review comments we found that Host Media UK needed a better way of getting information in case of a fail of the main US web servers.

As the Host Media UK website is on the main servers to allow examples of speed, features etc when a server restart occures and a short period where sites may go offline customers were unsure what was going on. This is also the case when a server is being upgraded, which mainly happens to our US servers as our UK servers are build based on the UK2 systems and dedicated servers.

If any of the US servers or dedicated servers go down and the Host Media UK website is unable to be accessed customers will be able to use HostIssues.com which is a phpBB3 forum where customers can see posts by the team or other customers regarding any issues. The site will continue to get improved with new features over the next few months. The site is hosted on our UK servers in London to make sure they are kept in a different area than the main network so all customers will have a way to contact the team or find updates on any matters.
